/files/pastor_debbie.jpgThrow away your preconceived ideas of what a pastor's wife should look and act like because Pastor Debbie never bought the mold.  A licensed minister in her own right, she keeps Seaport on the cutting edge of worship music.  When you visit Seaport, you will find her leading worship songs from some of today's best Christian artists.

Pastor Debbie says, "We are created first and foremost to worship God.  Worship is not /files/WorshipArtsGallery/thnx2.jpgsupposed to be a dry, passionless ritual - but a deep, spiritual and emotional experience with God.  Our goals for worship are simply to lead and facilitate a corporate expression of praise and worship, while allowing for individual freedom of worship.  Our music style is contemporary and centers around a collection od choruses selected to develop a chosen theme each week.  The singing and praise is complimented by our vocal response to God for who He is and what He has done."

/files/WorshipArtsGallery/thnx1.jpgHave you been to one of her outdoor concerts, Christmas productions, Easter dramas, or other special events?  When you do,you will love it.  Along with her responsibilities, Pastor Debbie is the lead singer for a traveling band called Mercy Road.  They have a particular passion to play their music for the biker community.  These biker rallies have taken them to Daytona and Sturgis where lives have been touched with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

David Crowder*Band's newest release “Remedy” is a great mix of some familiar favorites with subtle fresh arrangements and some inspired new songs.  From the very first song, “The Glory of It All”, you can feel the depth with which the David Crowder*Band ministers through their music.  Yes, this bands music befits their style but you really must listen to these songs with a focus on the words. David Crowder writes from somewhere deep in his Spirit…somewhere very deep.  His words hit the listener right where we live or where we should be living.  I recommend that you give it a listen.  I know that you will find at least one or two cuts that will be your favorites.

What do you get when you mix deep blues with a touch of funk, a good bit of rock n’ roll and fold in a generous portion of gospel?  What you get is the best of Jonny Lang.  I was introduced to this artist just a few months ago by my drummer and as soon as I heard the first cut I knew this was my kind of music.  Jonny Lang is not just a musician.  He is a musician with a purpose and his latest album, “Turn Around” grabs hold of his message and flings it into earshot.  I really enjoy variety on this CD from his awesome guitar riffs to a soul-stirring organ, played by GRAMMY-winning producer Shannon Sanders.  If you want something really different to listen to you just might enjoy my latest pick, Jonny Lang “Turn Around”.
