The Cary Family - U.S. Army
/files/cary_family_tn.jpgOur family has been tremendously blessed by being at Seaport Community Church. From the very first day we walked through the doors of the church we were welcomed and shown the love of God. The family friendly focus with an emphasis on teaching the Word of God, helped our family grow closer to God and to one another. One of the things we found very helpful was that the church offers a variety of events, classes and studies for all age groups, there is something for every member of the family. Seaport is a place of spiritual growth and love for all of God's people. Thank You Seaport!

The Guy Family - U.S. Navy

/files/guy_family_tn.jpgLisa and I have been attending Seaport for over eight years now.  We started coming to the church at 19 years old, after just enlisting in the Navy from Florida and just getting married.  There were several difficult times, including a 16 month separation due to a duty location swap, and an arduous 7½ month deployment.  Seaport has provided amazing opportunities for us as a Navy family to stay connected with friends and people who genuinely cared about us.  When I was underway, friends would stop by and shovel snow from our driveway.  When I deployed three weeks after my second son was born, the church showed up and provided Lisa with meals and care.  Seaport has become a home even though we are far away from our home.  Every Sunday we come in to see the smiling faces of friends that we have come to love over the years, that remind us of family even though we are over a thousand miles away from home.

We have had the opportunity in our time at Seaport to serve in various roles, including everything from participating in the cleaning teams to leading small groups and being a part of children’s ministries.  We have enjoyed Men’s Steak Nights, Women’s Fashion Shows and Tea Parties, church picnics under the park pavilion, and Family Movie Nights.

Seaport has ministered to us to keep us a strong family even in the most difficult times of separations and deployments.  Our three young children have grown up at Seaport and have especially benefited from the influence of other loving families taking the time to teach and encourage them. Our friends at Seaport have provided love and support and have afforded us the opportunity to grow and mature in our Christian walk while serving in the United States military.   We have been richly blessed by our time here at Seaport Community Church

We care about you!

The challenges faced by military personnel are unique. Lone-liness, separation, un-certainty - these can, at times, be real issues in the lives of our military and their families.

Seaport is committed to supporting you and your family during your time here. We care about you, your spouse and your children.

Please let us know how we can help.
